We apply bilingual labelling at the sample stage rather than at bulk, which matters more than it sounds. Reviewing French care copy on a physical garment catches wording and placement problems while they are still cheap to fix, instead of after several thousand pieces have been sewn.

Cold-weather construction for Canadian conditions

A large share of Canadian briefs is climate-driven, and the difference between a jacket that sells and one that gets returned is in the details: insulation weight matched to the actual use temperature, wind-resistant shell selection, storm flaps over zips, cuff and hem closures that seal, and lining that does not shed after commercial laundering. Insulated work jackets, fleece, softshells, parkas, and layered workwear are all regular programs.

Tell us whether garments are worn static or active, the temperature band you are designing for, and whether the buyer is an industrial site or a retail customer. Those three answers change the insulation and shell recommendation more than any other input.

Canadian sizing and size sets

North American size charts are usually close to US grading, but we still lock your Canadian chart on the size-set sample so reorders match. If you sell in both the US and Canada, say so up front: one graded spec with two label languages is a common and efficient program. Layering pieces need the size set graded with the intended mid-layer in mind, otherwise the outer shell fits correctly in isolation and badly in use.

Sampling, MOQ and production timing

The path is the same factory process as other export markets: brief, quote, sample, written approval, bulk, export packing. Minimum order is typically 100 to 300 pieces per style, per colourway, and insulated outerwear tends toward the upper end because shell fabric, lining, and insulation each carry their own minimums. Bulk production runs 15 to 20 days from the day you approve the sample in writing. New Canadian labels can start on fewer colourways; established importers can book larger dye lots.

Seasonal programs need the calendar worked backwards. For autumn and winter delivery, add ocean transit to the production window and place the order with enough margin that a sample revision does not cost you the season.

Shipping into Canada and CBSA clearance

We quote EXW or FOB from Pakistan, and your Canadian importer of record clears CBSA. Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, and Calgary are the usual conversations for port or airport, with ocean transit running roughly 25 to 38 days depending on whether you route west or east. Packing lists, carton marks, and commercial invoices follow the Incoterms on the purchase order.
